Dear daughter

In the cradle of womb, my heart sang you lullabies
When your glistening marbles shined upon me
My little bundle of sunshine, you warmed my cold dreams
Your gurgles could wake up the dark night to throw the stars at you
A delight I beheld when the little puff shoes morphed into those wild sneakers
Swagger finds you and I look for my darling,
The one of a kind.
Your words as they ebb,
My throat flows down churning them as honey
The warmth of your embrace, my sunrise
Our eyes, do they feel? our hearts, do they hear?
A kick of wrath and those pearly whites are all I wait for
My angel, guardian am I, for you to stride,
Allow even if you not, my torch will fall from behind, if not by your side.
Oh my! Snuggle up my fairy witch
You have the world to march with
Your fists need to be fine.
